Between pt Dato and "dufour Dato". The warmth of RG and the allure of RG and black dial flipped me to the dufour Dato side ! :) I think you are very much a white metal guy. I suspect Fx also likes RG and black dial combinations :) Actually from mine will ...

Great to discover this combo Dufourgraph (or Wongraph) on brown strap and deployant buckle. Wait to discover your following posts on this splendid watch. How do you describe the feeling on wrist of your 2 versions: Pt and RG? For me, Pt version was too he... 

Wrist comfort wise I do prefer this RG version to be honest. I tend to wear my Pt version in the past for a few hours in the office then remove it to rest my wrist and also to admire the movement from the caseback. We tried our friend's Dato up down in Pt... 

I also have tried the Dato up/down, more comfortable on my wrist but not my taste in fact. Warm (RG) regards ;-)) Patrickh

Although I must admit technically, the Dato Up Down is superior with a longer PR and in-house balance wheel/spring. Can't go wrong with any Datos imho. cheers robin

Indeed he spreads poison very quickly in Singapore! I still meet up with him and chat with him often, together with Kong and some friends. :) Nah, I won't have 2 Datos - not into 2 similar watches and like Nico, not into 2 watches with the same movement o... 

Congrats again on this rare find.. I actually haven't seen this version in the metal before.. After seeing all the new chronos (1815 and wongraph) recently, i m getting really tempted! But the practical side of me keep asking what am i gonna use the chron... 

We were drunk last night on Langes and other chronos - I will post our gtg soon :) it was very fun and really quite cool to see so many Langes we collectively collected. Cheers robin

This watch is stunning, the combo PG & black dial makes it less sober and I like this! And a Lange chronograph movement is yum-yum! You will enjoy it a lot! Fx ...

I don't know how many were made - I know the RG Black Dial Dato was produced for around 4 years... less than the platinum version and RG white dial version but I won't call the Dufour Dato a rare bird to be honest. The plat version is very nice of course ...

Yes, the PT version is an icon but this RG -black dial version is simply beautiful. It makes for a wonderful companion to your other Lange ... and the fantastic MB Villeret. Huge congratulations, Gerard
