Sam, this watch was my favorite ALS for a very long time (and still is, even if I like the black dial one very much too).
Perfect size to my wrist, perfect dial to my taste, I've been hesitating more than once.
The saxomat is a great movement too and I'm quite an auto guy as I use the watch everyday and like not having to wind it.
With your VC you'll have a lot of work with taking pictures for us :p

One lazy morning....
It's been a gloomy and rainy morning and my golf game got cancelled Trying to fight off the boredom, I took out my new phone (Panasonic CM1 with a Leica lens and built-in sensor) and took some mug shots of my latest acquisition - the ALS Langematic Perpet...

haha....I knew all along you are not a fan of
the Datograph Perpetual because of the busy-looking dial. Like you, I am leaning more and more towards the white metal, and as a result, I am keeping fewer and fewer rose gold pieces. I hope this is something I won't regret over time. Best Sam

The Datograph Perpetual is more sporty and casual while the Langematic Perpetual is more dressy and elegant, in my opinion. Love them both. Regards, Sam
