Because 10 minutes per 12 hours ( even per week! ) is not normal at all, of course.
It is such an impressive outcome that I would first check if your watch has not been magnteized.
Ask to any watchmaker, before.
If not, I fear it is time for a service...

Thanks very much for that. I did not think of the watch being magnetized since I have no problems when I wear it during the day. However, I think you're right - its time for service as I have never sent it in yet.

I think, a service in Glashütte is the best way to find out what´s wrong with the beautiful Datograph. Especially after four years of constant wearing the fine watch. When the Datograph is back it will be like new. Regards! Sascha
Just another speculation ...
... the fact that it runs slowly over night might have someting to do with the low power reserve of 36h and the combined big date. The date change over night might cause the drop in PR ( because of some technical fault, maybe ) and that results in loosing...

You can try....
putting the clock slightly tilted to one side and see if the delay increases or decreases the morning after. if it were magnetized would lose time all day long, you can always try to reload it before storing. I agree it's time to have a service.
