In all deference and humility, I meant first-rate in the sense

of your offering some truly excellent advice, based on well-founded knowledge and "hands-on" experience, with a play on words (from me, of course) with "rate stability".
In fact, this would be exactly my own advice - again truly excellent - so neither of us should be challenging the other to a duel, dear Count.
If your choice of weapons is shoes, I will be a dead man.
Rather, we should join forces to hunt down the PRINCE DE MONET - the villain who "prints the money"
Even if Lange does not make it's own mainsprings, surely JLC will see to that for them.

Thanks very much for that. I did not think of the watch being magnetized since I have no problems when I wear it during the day. However, I think you're right - its time for service as I have never sent it in yet.

I think, a service in Glashütte is the best way to find out what´s wrong with the beautiful Datograph. Especially after four years of constant wearing the fine watch. When the Datograph is back it will be like new. Regards! Sascha

Thanks for the message. I was wondering as well why it does not lose time on my wrist during the day but only at night. I figured the power reserve was not adequate for some weird reason. Unfortunately this implies a bigger problem than the watch being ma...

Alkis worked on my L1 and 1815 chrono this year, and I can attest that both he and Stacy execute commendable work and are consummate professionals. My Langes came back to me as new! Please be advised they are currently on annual holiday in Greece and will...

putting the clock slightly tilted to one side and see if the delay increases or decreases the morning after. if it were magnetized would lose time all day long, you can always try to reload it before storing. I agree it's time to have a service.
