Throughout the year I have shared your sentiments, I was 'hoping' for something daring and special, while expecting it would be tame and consistent such as this. I will admit I am happy to see the fully exposed tourbillon cutout used in a Wg case where it...

I would be happy with a salmon dialed Grande Lange 1.

I have the same complaints as with the original L1 tourbillon: 1) get rid of the miniscule seconds subdial. It really clutters up the dial, it's silly small, and we already have the tourbillon ticking away. 2) get the "tourbillon" text off the dial. Yes, ... 

I know I’m being harsh here, but come on...the last one should have been fireworks no ? Instead a re-edition, again, of a old model. And if you ask me, the Honey Gold was sooo much nicer. What’s going on in Glashütte ? ...  

I think their decision to release so many limited anniversary pieces highlights just how versatile and successful the original Lange 1 design is. To release such an original design by a "new" company and to have so many successful variations is truly amaz... 

...but the ‘all blue’ thing is really safe and really boring.

from the pics, the movement looks similar to the older Lange 1 tourby.. I Guess then the date doesn’t jump instantly at midnite
