higher than retail price
One would wonder why you would pay that premium if you can get it from an AD at retail or retail with some discount. You might need to wait a bit but as anohter member said, these are standard produciton model and are still in production (except the limited edition pair). I checked the prices of other brand watches in this auction as well, there are a number of "current" models sold at much higher than retail and some at quite a discount. There can be only 2 deductions (1) inexperience bidders or someone who has so much money who really doesn't care/ ot this is a way to "spend" the money (2) price manipulation in the background. My wild guesses.

what's the retail for the 1815 Moonphase because at euro 26k with a
40%increase on retail that would put retail at around €14k which is surprisingly low.

Retail is higher than what you quoted, but the 1815 HG MP was certainly a steal, in my opinion, if you could find one.
It is quite accurate maths still that Kong is doing ...
On the continent (europe) it had a retail price of 18.500 Eu. The surplus in the auction represents: 42% Seems to be o.k., the maths. Regards Moritz
