Love it! I like this 'Darth' better than the recent 30th anniversary Onyx dial L1.

...is that the subdials are outlined on the L1 30th. In person, the onyx dial is much shinier with no contrasting subdial texture while the original "Darth" has snailing in the subdials.

When you pointed those out, I searched for a good pic of the 30th anniversary version and could see very clearly the differences. I have to agree with Dimardi that your original version is much nicer, IMHO. Still, I’m sure the onyx is beautiful in person ... 

I have not seen it in person so I can only judge from the pictures....and I looked at a lot since I was having to make a decision about it. I was offered the 30th anniversary onyx and turned it down for the reasons I mentioned above. Some of the design fe... 

I think the outline in my opinion is less appealing than the original darth without the outline and I like the different texture/snailing and slightly sunken subdials for the time and seconds.

Though the 30th is no slouch
