Interest in auctions is ok
Having a passion for watches and interest in auctions is not mutually exclusive. In fact they can easily go hand in hand. How can you be interested in the details of a watches movement without being curious about its market value trend compares to other models. And what's wrong with selling a watch via auction? Maybe there is a death in the family or divorce. Maybe a lost job or (call me crazy) a calamatous recession hits. Or maybe someone simply wants to upgrade a watch....sorry guys, I just don't get this aversion to auctions - either as a means of trade or as an indicator of market value (albeit not a perfect one)
