It is one of my favorite perpetual's out there really in any metal but particularly in platinum. Looks like you have a bunch of nice Lange's Craig! In any event, I thought about changing to one of my perpetual's last night but figured it was pointless as I'd be asleep before midnight anyway!

I love Lange because, besides all the features available, the big date is the only one really useful
Patek in line windows calendar is the only competitor I like

There's also a misalignment with the "JU" of June. They do balance each other. Not sure why that has happened.

It might have been deliberate. If the "UG" (in AUG) and "JU" (in JUN) were lower on the leap year subdial, they would practically touch the year numbers "1" and "4." That would look even worse. The only way to make everything line up perfectly would be to...
It's definitely not (only) the earlier dials, because my dial is a recent replacement dial of the newer type. Also, have a look at these non-English dials...

It makes it look like the leap year subdial is under a magnifying lens. Similar to the Rolex date.
