People like or not this “Lange detail” but the fact to not display a “0” when the date if before 10 is something I like a lot
Regarding this specific model, I like it too but I have one concern about it. When you closely pay attention to the “AUG” and “JUN” month writings, you can notice, on few models, a “gap”. Something I don’t understand coming from Lange.
Without this potential issue, this timepiece offers one of the nicest dial layout.

There's also a misalignment with the "JU" of June. They do balance each other. Not sure why that has happened.

It might have been deliberate. If the "UG" (in AUG) and "JU" (in JUN) were lower on the leap year subdial, they would practically touch the year numbers "1" and "4." That would look even worse. The only way to make everything line up perfectly would be to...
It's definitely not (only) the earlier dials, because my dial is a recent replacement dial of the newer type. Also, have a look at these non-English dials...

It makes it look like the leap year subdial is under a magnifying lens. Similar to the Rolex date.
