I too like a stealthy watch — but actually, unless it is a Rolex, nobody “sees” my watch anyway! Are the hands platinum or white gold?
Yes, hands are rhodium-plated WG, so it's the rhodium plating you're seeing.
That's why Lange's white metal hands don't have the slightly warmer, yellower look of Lange's WG cases, which are not plated.
