Newly in: Stealth Lange 1

Dear Lange community, after several months on the hunt, I am happy to share I finally took the plunge and acquired a Platinum Lange 1 (ref 101.025).

I was debating a lot whether to go with the original model/movement or new model/movement. I opted finally for the original for several “geek” reasons including winding feeling, bezel proportion and the fact it was the… original. Those reasons overweighted the fact that the newer movement is technically (and chronometrically) superior.

It wears its nickname “stealth” very well as it flies under the radar (at least to 99% of people) – an important watch picking criteria for me. I also directly "had to" order a Loupe System (long overdue) to immerse in the movement. Now let's hope there are enough upcoming rainy days to spend scrutinizing the watch!
