I am another here who had this piece (gen. 1) and let it go.
I bought it for two things:
- The complication. But I didn't find it as useful in actual use when travelling - it's better for use at home when you want to track a second timezone.
- The beautiful additional half-bridge for the time transfer mechanism. I couldn't fault that - it was the nicest engraving on all my Langes with a gorgeous big flower petal - but it was still on the reverse side of the watch!
Then, over time, I also realised that all the less-busy dials on the Lange 1 appealed to me much more. So I ended up with the Moon Phase (gen. 2) which, for me, is the sweet-spot - and a keeper.
Lange & Sohne Lange One Time Zone.
The Lange One Time Zone isn't in my top five, but in my top 6. I love the original way to display the travel time in this refined environment. The Black dial is my favorite... Along with the 25th Anniversary. Best, Nicolas ...

I badly want a platinum one gen 1.
Years ago I had an opportunity to buy one from the Como concours from one of the participants. I felt it was just too expensive for me at the time. It’s probably my biggest regret in this crazy hobby because I’ll never have an opportunity to get one.
