I agree that the two sizes are now a bit difficult to distinguish from each other, but I think the design benefits from the removal of the overlap.

I always thought the overlap dial was an embarassment for Lange, sacrificing the clean design on the altar of size with the added malus of being unable to just scale the movement up to size - good to see that they can do that after all. I still prefer the...

I welcome this change to the Grand Lange 1. The platinum version suits my taste perfectly.. Although I have long envisioned my first Lange to be the platinum TZ, the timeless Lange 1 in a size that better suits my wrist might be the one! I am quite happy ... 

I am biased as i own the previous model,but I can t see the point of an Inflated Lange 1. The overlapping circles were the distincive character of the watch,they gave quirkyness and interest,I welcome the bigger movement but stylistically its a faux pas f... 

... as I do not own either the the Lange 1 or the Grand Lange 1, but I agree with Moc. Despite the general aversion to the over-lapping circles of the original Grand Lange 1, it did gave itself character and set it apart from the Lange 1.

Nthing new or inspired, but I imagine I will get one eventually. Found the original just a mm or two too small.

I am sure the new look of Grand Lange 1 serves its purpose. To some, it is quite boring. Regards Ling
