Very hard to decide! The VC is a bit "sportier", more masculine, where the Lange is pure poetry, very calm and gentle. The play with light and shadow on the VC is also superior to the Lange. Sorry, but if not both ... I can't decide! 😃

To my eye, the biggest differences of 36 vs 38.5 mm are 1) the blued steel hands instead of the rose gold hands and 2) the stepped semicircle on the dial instead of none. After closer reexamination of that pic, it appears you are correct. Perhaps the owne...
Don’t don’t think that photos are important but the way these two watches once worn make YOU feel is what matters. Whist the VC exudes class and taste, the 1815 would make me feel better in the long run. Honey gold preferred however.
