I really love my Lange Time Zone. It is exquisitely built and I found the second time zone to be much more practical than the PP Worldtimer (and I am a big fan of PP). I don't think you can go wrong with either of these pieces and your father will love the idea that you took the time and effort to find something so wonderfull and personal.

I also own the Ulysses Nardin GMT and wouldn't neccessarily rule that out because of the 24 hour hand. I find it exceptionally practical for travel because you set the 24 hour hand on GMT and there are pushers that allow you to instantly adjust the hour hand on the main watch up and down an hour at a time. If you travel 4 hours forward ... click it 4 hours ahead....when you return home click it 4 hours back...it really is incredibly simple. It is simple and quite ingenious.

( However my personal favourite is the Lange Time zone.)
