I enjoyed reading your review. My understanding is that Langes tend to be a bit thicker because of the thickness of their plates and bridges. But, that also makes them sturdier than their Swiss counterparts. No complaints from my side! 🙂


About the "instantaneous" feature --- do the indicators change precisely when  the second hand crosses the 60 min mark at midnight (a la Zeitwerk)?

The indications do not change precisely at midnight. Because the time is displayed in an analog manner, I don't think there is a way to get the watch to change exactly at midnight when the seconds cross 0, as it depends on how you align the hands to the m...

I couldn't have said it better, chintu. Thank you for your reply! For exactly the reasons you stated, I feel this is a superlative watch. One unfamiliar with Lange and the Lange 1 family would have no idea of the innovation and complexity housed within.

Yes! Yesterday (August 1) was my first month change. I had the watch right up to my face, and I could actually feel it when the change happened. The "click" was also quite audible. I was actually startled a bit, (in a good way). 😂

Congrats! The salmon dial is quite lovely I have an opportunity to acquire a 345.033 from the boutique but there are a few others I really want as well How did I ever fall in love with a watch I never even knew I wanted before ?
