Let's have some painful fun, and try to choose between these 2 beauties, the 1815 Moonphase E.Lange, or the Langematik Annivesary. To me, these are the two most desirable Lange ever made, which combinate very well together since one is manual, the 1815, a...

both are mandatory! But the Emil wins by a mile. The black dial is magnificent with its markers. It is a really unique dial watch. I have nothing else like it. The anniversary, while enamel, and the unique red 12 make it desirable, but there are other ena... 

Both sums in a nice way Lange's Talent in watchmaking. They also belong to a bygone era... Which is a tad sad. Best, Joe. Nicolas

.... The combination of the enamel dial, blue hands, and of course the 'bleeding' XII makes the Anniversary a breathtaking icon.

If you have the Emil, you will need to have the Anniversary and vice versa. If you have neither, start with one and patiently wait for the other. :) I would like to have both at the same time to avoid any conflict - in my dreams.:) Best fernando

I would love both, if I can only have one it would be the Langematik. The movement may be the nicest looking auto ever made in my opinion. Tough to pass up on that whole package. Tony

Handwind vs Automatic, Complicated vs non Complicated, Enamel dial for one... two of the best LE from Lange for sure but I have a big problem to put them side by side. So any serious collector would say: both... Fx

Although the Langematik is truly a watchmaker's watch, the starry narrative of the Emil Lange is just so powerful to me. Thanks for showing these, Nicolas.

...with your Emil posts! The Langematik is a beauty indeed...but there is something even more special going on with the Emil IMO. Very very high in my wishlist, and that's partially your fault! ;)

Just at the very precise moment that I finally reach a decision after long hesitation... Because choosing is renouncing and if you can't have all then you have to choose... So I had finally reach that point where I could press the GO button and... ARRRGH ...

I will choose the anniversary, in this match up.. If The anniversary was up against the Lange 1815 mp homage edition, then its a different story.. Tat mp wull inch out the anniversary

I m a sucker for the blue hands I guess.. And I also really like the fonts of the 1815 line It's a dilemma I wish I could have Good luck

- But ok, my friend: If one, only ONE allowed, I guess I'd go for the 1815 Emil Lange MP, maybe because of poetry in an a bit unusual watch. Hmmmh.. Although on the other hand, the Anniversary would be my first enamelled dial, and as it's so classic !.. -... 

for moonphase, I will pick the Lange 1 moonphase Japan boutique edition or the new Pt Lange 1 moonphase

I just can't get past the big dipper on the moon phase. I have this idea that celestial bodies should move, and always having a big dipper and some star shaped indices that don't move, I'm sure I would prefer it with only the moon. And this watch has so m... 

But my vote goes to the 1815 moonphase. But just by a whisker.. Hope to see more replies to this interesting poll!

Sorry I am very late to this party. I would cast one vote for each! So different, but my favorite two dials among all Lange watches and the most "romantic" pieces in the collection in my opinion. That said, getting an 1815 MP was a higher priority for me ...
