If you like thin watches, check out the Bulgari Octo Finissimo. In steel, it's half the price of the AP, and from a movement and craftsmanship perspective, it's almost equivalent! There are some things that Bulgari had to do that may seem atypical to get the thickness so low. For instance, AP's CODE has applied indices (I presume) with little feet attaching the hour markers to the dial - the traditional manufacturing method. Bulgari - in an effort to make the watch thinner, has galvanically grown markers that are applied on without the traditional feet to get the whole thing thinner. This is probably an easier way to manufacture a watch. But it probably wasn't done this way to make it easier it was definitely done this way to reduce height - so it's somewhat forgivable.
Your CODE is definitely a special one. The Tourbillon! Goodness! Those are rare!
