I have had three AP's refinished in Clearwater, two were really beat up.
I think they have all been returned in better than new condition. The price is very reasonable. They also may be able to replace the single link. Just call Betsy at AP Clearwater 727-467-0940. (Hope it is ok to post this info)

That looks relatively deep and to get it out it will involve too much polishing, the angles and shapes will be ruined. Also, I doubt it will disappear completely. How about getting a leather or plastic strap for the watch and just keep the bracelet?

If it's DLC coated (black) then it's simply not economical to have the links stripped of the coating and then re-polished , brushed and re-coated. I think it's more feasible in your case to replace individual links. ---- For non-coated stainless steel and...
