It is very kind of AP to reach out to you.
AP's customer service continues to reach new heights.
The fact of the matter, Nop, is that when you buy a watch pre-owned, you might never be fully sure of what you get. Just because the seller is a member here does not assure authenticity or trust.
I don't think AP's "transparency on their back-end systems" is relevant here at all. When I read your post, it sounds like the watch was never sent into an AP Service Center, and therefore they have no record of it. It was a courtesy to ask you if the seller had such documentation. AP tracks and records every watch they service, but they are under no direct obligation to report that information.
Nonetheless, I hope AP's fast response has restored your temporarily lost faith. Keep us posted.
