This is really well executed here and very coherent.

I'm very curious what the "feel" of a ceramic bracelet is: solid, sturdy and substanial - OR - plasticky and trinkety (I'm not sure if those are real words, but I think you get the idea). I like this watch though if I were in the market for a RO perpetual...

Honestly while I really like the full ceramic RO and appreciate its finishing, this is nothing innovative or technologically advanced.

We can apply your statement to almost every watch. Now, when the movement in this watch was revised a year ago and added a week indicator, that was a technological advancement, correct?

We know how well AP machines thinks, it will feel awesome on the wrist.

Your reply touches different topics for sure. I suggest you start a new thread for your many different points. And, if you read all my replies, I indicated I would not buy this watch. So not everyone's flag is at full mast.

The price alone is a limiting factor, but for those with the means, this will be a sought after watch with a long waiting list.

then yes, I think so. However, AP seems very vigilant in their treatment of the 15202. I don't ever see it as a reference destined for multiple materials / new dials, etc. BUT, I can certainly dream of some magical combinations

With the Royal Oak case type, I am very interested to see it live.

Particularly when the finish is so good. If only they were to make this in grey ceramic, it would an absolute top watch.

Nicolas, I think the watch looks so good in steel, I would likely choose it over this all black model.

Per Hodinkee the price for this all ceramic QP model is $85,000. Yikes! I thought the watch industry is in a downturn.

AP's polished ceramic has a high degree of shine. How will this look when wearing it on the wrist, with the details on the bracelet? I am very much looking forward to seeing one live.

RG, WG or PT is what I like on my wrist.

There is no moving you to "the dark side"! And truthfully, if I were buying an AP perpetual calendar with this dial layout and movement, I think the steel model would suit me best.

I hope my friend, who is a friend of the CEO of AP, will help me see this in real life.

I fully expect this will trickle down through all of the models. The RO is so terribly prone to scratches that it doesn\'t suffice as much of a sports watch. Now they need to up the water resistance and go the bathyscaphe route with pushers that work unde... 

I would enjoy hearing your personal experience on how terribly prone to scratches it is. I have had Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks on my wrist since 2001 in steel and gold. They all continue to to look new. I have probably worn my 15202 500 times over the pas... 

That is music to my ears. But to be fair all of my watches have some very real wear and tear. The brushed parts of the case have a couple of hairline scratches visible only under very bright light, likely from some dirt particle being rubbed against the g... 

One reason I don\'t ever see myself buying an perpetual calendar watch is that it has to be on a winder or constantly attended. Now I fully respect how wonderfully complicated these are in mechanical form, but its "high maintenance" nature doesn\'t really...
