The history of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo is so rich that exhaustivity is both exhausting and almost impossible . Therefore, I have decided to leave aside the openwork variants and the RD#3 Tourbillon . For a more complete information , please re...
Extraordinary work as always mate! Lovely info and images - you keep on producing top notch quality content again and again, and I both applaud and appreciate it! 5402SA is absolutely sublime! Wish that AP would reintroduce more bimetal pieces as I just c...
I also find the 5402SA very appealing. AP could reintroduce these bimetallic models, but the vintage charm is unique and a modern watch wouldn't have it, unfortunately. Best, Emmanuel

I was going to say I truly love reading all of your educational and informative posts, which elucidate all of us watch lovers on so many interesting topics. Just wanted to say thank you!
You are too kind. I’m glad this post was helpful and, most importantly, I wish you the best for finding the 16202 that sings to you! I’m looking forward to seeing which one you will choose to complement your beautiful green dial 15510! Best, Emmanuel

In my personal opinion RO Jumbo is the most comfortable full metal watch. The only watch that beats it in terms of comfort is Bulgari Octo Finissimo in titanium. But the RO looks way nicer not mentioning the waaay better decorated movement.
My one and only AP is the second generation 15202. I purchased this in the grey market back in 2014 at list - those were the days 🤣. Apart from the green dial a few years later there hasn’t been another that I’ve coveted in the meantime. The charm of doin...
but I agree that it’s not a good enough reason to move to the 16202. I don’t have a RO and will probably never own one (given the prices and my priorities), but it doesn’t prevent me from sincerely admiring it. Best, Emmanuel
Of course the 16202 has a three-part case, not two-part like the OG 5402, but I still think it's a great version of the Jumbo with an improved movement and it makes a wonderful duo with your 5711! Huge congratulations again on this acquisition! Best, Emma...
