Seems like AP continues to raise the bar on dial making every year. On all models.
I just realized that AP has exceeded my “lifetime to date” watch brand purchases, including Panerai and Rolex.
Incredible it started over 20 years ago with a pre-owned Beast and has evolved so much.
Next pieces have to be Tourbillon models…we shall see!

I want to love these...
...but something just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe it's the slab-sided nature of the case...no tapering. I am a huge fan of two-tone so that's not it...I will have to see one in person.
I quite like the chrono and perp calendar…
but i’m still wondering what they were thinking when they designed the time only model. Too derivative and the date placement is simply awkward. Really cannot see a future classic here.
Exact feeling I have with my Code Chronograph and it has a superb centre of gravity and sits well on any size wrist …simply amazing !

I still cannot get past the date window at 4:30...
If I have an option, I'll asked for no date cut-out even with the function operating under the dial....hmmm, maybe brands can let customer customize?
I doubt it's a switch over as these date at 4 are older movement bases.
Maybe I'm not up to date but when is VC having a new chrono movement?

My SA has no clue when it will be available again….The boutique has nothing for sale.. all the pieces are for displaying and viewing purposes while 6 months ago i am still able to see several codes and roo for sales.
