I owned this for 3 years and my wife and I drove it across Europe, camped in a tent on the roof, hauled logs for our boiler, used it as a bird hide, cooked on the built in table, carried a toilet in the back. It’s a go anywhere do anything vehicle. Great views from up high. Were super middle aged BTW
It is in fact very comfortable on the open road although it isn’t a Bentley. Plenty of road noise though. It’s super solid and well made and not over priced. No regrets.
This is not a Patek Philippe kind of vehicle.

And I choose the wording carefully. It is fully fit for purpose for replacing an old school Defender or Land Cruiser and is excellent off road. However no concessions have been made for driving on road as a consequence - it is an old school body on frame....

… test drive these in Austin during F1 two years ago. Lumbering vehicle. If you are after any sort of refinement, this isn’t the right vehicle. But purely on a functional basis, it serves the purpose.
