OK, I'll bite
I have a few friends with these. It's a big clumsy off-road vehicle that makes few concessions to road use. So if your idea of fun is a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, a Bronco Raptor, an 80s Toyota FJ62, or a 1990s Defender 110, buy with confidence.
Be sure to read reviews of the 2026 mid-cycle upgraded version of the Grenadier, because quite a few qualitative and quality of life changes were made due to owner feedback.
Prior to the 2026 changes, the primary complaints included non-self-centering steering, minimal steering lock and large turning circles, first-car-ever quality lapses from a new constructor with little experience, and the merely adequate power of the BMW engine.
If you're expecting a G-Wagon or a current-production Land Rover Defender, this isn't your truck. But if your reference point is anything from those first four I mentioned above, game on.
Best Regards,
Tim
