A few thoughts

 

I think reactions will fall into three categories. 1) Hate it 2) Love it 3) Like the idea of an electric Ferrari but wonder why it had to look like this. As for a potential fourth viewpoint... I'm willing to bet nobody likes the look yet wishes it were petrol powered. My view approximates #3, but I also think it looks better in a non-studio image with a human figure to give relative scale as here with photos to the credit of Motor Trend. I also think they should have workshopped this design with a Ferrari owner's panel without telling them it was to be an EV Ferrari. That would have given more useful feedback on the wholistic quality of the design. Lambo had an EV concept that looked incredible and likely will see the light of day with gasoline power rather than batteries.


I'm a little bit surprised that Ferrari went through with this given the pressures on a publicly traded company with a culturally far right clientele. Lambo, Bentley, and Porsche pulling back on EVs would have seemed to give Ferrari cover to bail on this idea. From Motor Trend:
