Z8 (my favourite of the Z models) was only made in LHD though and for me sits along side the Z1 as the epitome of BMW cool.

I have the 370 (no ego here) can someone comment on the differences as I know the performance numbers are almost dead even.

Best to go drive one because the cars are so different it's kinda apples and oranges. Throw the numbers out the window. Mid-engine vs front engine, German vs Japanese engineering and design ethos, different target customers, etc.

That’s why I asked about the 370 they are completely different cars… The 350 is a sporty car and the 370 is a sports car they aren’t even remotely similar...370’s handling is much better.

Sold it with over 100k km, which i did myself. Great time it was.

. . . as I've never seen one here. Another German car that never made it here officially was the second-generation Audi A3. I've seen two, though . . . they must've been brought in from Canada. Art

on the autobahn you will normally need to close the doors due to wind speed and then it is just another convertible; top speed is ok as well, handling is good in curves when people see the car without knowing of it they are unable to guess its age due to ...

That was a sweet spot in time for BMW cars and the Z1 was about as fun and characterful as the Germans ever got.

My old 8 series - similar nose treatment to the Z1 with the slick wedge shape and tiny grills and you can see the same flare lines around the front and rear fenders/quarter panels. Like the z1 it also missed a bit on hp, they both looked faster than they ...  

Its a bit quirky but maybe thats why i like it
