Bare bones is the way to go...

 

If you can get the car with as little optional equipment as possible, you're in for a sweet ride at a sweet price.  Unfortunately, I am spoiled with the gadgets now.  And in the city, I need the parking sensors ($1000 USD option).  Add a few more things and voila you've instantly added 20% to the base price in options.  


I like the Alcantara steering wheel but you have to use gloves on it or else the Alcantara looks wonky after a few years.
