If you can get the car with as little optional equipment as possible, you're in for a sweet ride at a sweet price. Unfortunately, I am spoiled with the gadgets now. And in the city, I need the parking sensors ($1000 USD option). Add a few more things and ... 

as that means there will be plenty of used ones on the market :) in UK you can pick up a 2000 reg boxster tiptronic with 100k on the clock, but still tight and crisp for a mere £9-10k. still just as much fun, brilliant handling, excellent daily driver for... 

Hey, call me tightwad too! I'd like to pick up a cheap Cayman someday as well! Porsche cars in California unfortunately have fairly high resale value, but on the pre-owned market there are other cars that are desirable that plummet in just a few years.

my subaru was a prime example of that depreciation. over £28k new and i bought it at 5 years old with 25k on the clock. mint with full service history for just under £8k. i see no reason to ever want to sell it as it does everything i need. damn fast, com...

The Cayman is indeed in the shadow of the 911. And it always will be. You are right Andrew, Porsche will keep the 911 as their "flagship." But you're also right again, the Cayman really should get more attention. And you are absolutely right, a Cayman S o...

When I drove the new 991 last year, I also said. This was my favorite car. And it was, it even drove significantly better than other cars costing twice the price. The Cayman is nice, it's noisier, it's less comfortable. But on the racetrack, it's just eas...

I have to say in general I like the Cayman S more than the Carrera 4S I drove side-by-side on the track. I think that I would be able to be slightly faster in the Carrera mainly due to greater power, but I'd be much more confident with the Cayman. Perhaps...

I did indeed have a good time, it was hard not to keep the smile off my face. I'm sure I'd have even more fun in a Lotus Elise too... That's tempting. In general, I do like Porsche design, but with this Cayman, the rear is imperfect in my eyes. I wonder h... 

The Cayman is one of the best drivers cars, especially in it's price range ... not too much power (for those who think 300 hp isn't much ...) but extremely fast nonetheway. I'll be happy with the 2.7 with manual gearbox, lighter aftermarket wheels, lighte... 

Bim's got a Cayman all tricked out and customized already. Or a 964. One never really can tell. We don't have Akrapovic exhausts here in the US, at least I'm not aware of it. Thanks for reading!

And I really like my personal car, it is fairly torque rich. But I wouldn't mind taking a Cayman S home sometime soon! They just need to add a bit of horsepower and torque.

When it comes to watches, I'm often a stickler about movement finishing. When it comes to cars, I'm a stickler about steering, brakes, and suspension. You may also note that I mentioned that many AWD cars have reduced feel on their steering. But on the 91...

Yes, your text came at just the right time. The case 911 is a great car. A few years ago at Pebble Beach, I drove a multitude of very swanky expensive cars. And yet when I climbed into a base 911 with PDK transmission (this was the older 997 chassis) and ...
