Great choice Nico!
I love the C43 range as it makes so much more sense that the C63s and the Coupe is a lovely looking car. My only qualm is the satellite navigation display that looks like an add on as it is not as integrated into the dashboard as in the E and S classes. Other than that, it is beautifully designed both in and out.

I'm fairly certain the DBS and Vantage are available with a manual gearbox. I've personally driven both the DBS and Vantage with a manual gearbox in the USA. Haven't driven them in Europe though, but I imagine they produced manual cars for European market...

I don't think you can get a better new car. Yes some people may scream Porsche Cayman S or GTS but the C43 can carry four people in comfort and is a better bet than offerings from BMW, Audi and Jaguar.

I've got the supercharged 4 door version. But I like the lighter, naturally aspirated 2 door version, or the super rare C55 that was only made from 2005-6 was a nice car too! As you mentioned; great acceleration, great reliability.
AMG has finally achieved its rightful place.
My dream had always been the SLS AMG and after two test drives, I still could not part with my watches as that was the only way I could afford one!
