DB9, DBS, DB whatever you want... They are all fantastic cars. But I would be more than happy with the Aston Martin V8. Very Aston, nice motor, powerful enough, great body. What's not to like? Aaah, yes, I would like a manual gear box... And probably a di...
I'm fairly certain the DBS and Vantage are available with a manual gearbox. I've personally driven both the DBS and Vantage with a manual gearbox in the USA. Haven't driven them in Europe though, but I imagine they produced manual cars for European market...
it gave one a feel good factor even before starting the engine. One of the most perfect shapes ever in my opinion together with the Ferrari Dino. UK roads are not the widest so the width of the car is just about the maximum one would want in a car. The ne...
the longest I had owned any car so far. What acceleration! Bullet proof reliability!! It was so good, I was even tempted to upgrade to CLK63 AMG or a black series but the price differential was too great for the small gains. Go try one Patrick! Best barga...
I love the C43 range as it makes so much more sense that the C63s and the Coupe is a lovely looking car. My only qualm is the satellite navigation display that looks like an add on as it is not as integrated into the dashboard as in the E and S classes. O...
Many years ago I bought a limited edition Civic Type R and did not test drive it as the car was in Scotland. The car was sold out everywhere type R was great but my then wife, started feeling sick in it as the ride was way too hard. I had to sell the car...
I don't think you can get a better new car. Yes some people may scream Porsche Cayman S or GTS but the C43 can carry four people in comfort and is a better bet than offerings from BMW, Audi and Jaguar.
I've got the supercharged 4 door version. But I like the lighter, naturally aspirated 2 door version, or the super rare C55 that was only made from 2005-6 was a nice car too! As you mentioned; great acceleration, great reliability.
that you might be able to afford one way before me. In addition, it would be the perfect car for California with its wide roads!! Buy one and I may have to make a special trip to visit you
And shockingly (pun intended), a Tesla is faster than a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG! I'll let you know when I get an SLS. They're hard to come by. And I only want a gullwing version (non roadster). I drive the supercharged E55 AMG currently, it's a great car to...
Not sure why anyone would buy the roadster because part of the attraction is the gull wing! No Tesla for me - the reliability is questionable and it is not so much outright speed but the way the speed is delivered that matters. The V8 of the SLS really ne...
and I will say that of all the cars I have owned (over 40 in 30 years), it ranks a commendable second after the NSX!! Go try one Nico - for me, it is a keeper!
this car makes a compelling choice. For me it is one of the most under rated cars currently being sold. Many moan about the lack of outright speed and the low torque levels but they miss the point entirely. The way the car delivers the power and its near ...
I know some people enjoy modifying their cars and their watches (strap changes for example) but I love to keep things as original as possible. 200bhp is enough for me
It is a GT, not a real performant sports car, too heavy, certainly for cornering, it is just no match at all for any 911. I didn't drive with the new V8 Vantage yet. I'm thinking about the Vanquish rather, I think it has the more beautiful lines. Also a G...
My wife has a Targa. My only complaint is it feels like a small car compared to my California T and my brothers AM Vanquish. I am trying to decide which car to sell, both 2015, Targa has 3,400 miles and California T has 24,000 miles. I think the Targa wil...
