Yes indeed, a set of winter wheels and tires would be mandatory around here 🙂 While my M40 was getting its oil changed and new A/S RFT’s installed, they gave me an i4 40 loaner. Overall a nice electric effort from BMW. The instant torque just smashes you back into the seat 🙂 There were two things I disliked about the driving experience, 1) The regenerative braking was way too aggressive. Like every time you let up off the gas, the car would lurch forward uncomfortably. I have to imagine there is a setting you can play with to make this less aggressive. I’m assuming the dealer put it on “high” perhaps to conserve the most electric battery power. 2) From a standstill, you’d gently tap the gas and nothing would happen. It does not idle forward like my M40 ICE. The result is you have to apply more pressure to the pedal, and the car jerks uncomfortably forward.
