I think it's kind of cool.

 

It's kind of like the Cadillac Celestiq idea but at a lower price. They build a big EV sedan for people who fly for anything more than a three hour drive. I even think it looks cool. The bigger problem is whether such a niche product can sustain a company that was a full-line manufacturer of cars and SUVs with labor force and factories to match. Cadillac has a large lineup of cars and trucks besides the Celestiq, and Jaguar has none. 


Every attempt to flesh out the Jaguar lineup with SUVs - the only thing that sells anymore - has been met with the obvious response that nobody walks into a Jag/Land Rover dealer and choses a Jag SUV over a Land Rover.
