In Belgium we have an annual technical inspection of any car older than 4 years or even new cars when you register it as a van (like my 120d and Clio RS). The car gets a full inspection for safety and other very important issues. So a couple of months ago...

Lovely Ms you have there, though. The E46 M3 is my all-time favorite M car. The E46 M3 is still such a beautiful design to this day, and with a wonderful high-revving naturally aspirated engine. Cheers, from an S65 V8 brother, John

I love the steering on the E92. Great machine.

I've driven the latest M3 and M4 in an autocross as well as one the track. They are more powerful and have better a better chassis/suspension, but the E9X is a better overall experience IMO despite being a bit slower. The S65 climbing to 8400 rpm in 2nd o... 

I drove one with around 50,000 miles or around 90,000 kilometers. It had been driven in a lot of city traffic and stop and go traffic. It had the dual clutch transmission. I noticed it seemed that there was some vibration and hesitation upon engaging firs... 

I have the DCT, which I think is the perfect mate for the S65 engine. I'm at about 60,000 miles with no noticeable clutch issues, although it is clunky going from 1st to 2nd gear when cold, but that's how most E9X DCTs are. There is M3 GTS DCT software th... 

I'll pay more attention to the gear shifting the next time I get a chance to drive one. Still one of my favorite BMWs! And while I think the new M3/M4 may be better cars for the mass public, the E9X is emotionally much more interesting with its super prec...

That 1M is a true monster but i get a bit more satisfaction out of driving my Clio RS fast .. a lot easier and more responsive.
