I totally love the old school aesthetic, especially the analog dials, wire wheels, exhaust and rounded lights.... Keep it safely garaged, vehicle thefts have spiked yet again in recent months, my new bike got stolen from Santa Monica less than a month ago...

Myself I am riding a 1050 V-Strom (90° V2 too, but wrong orientation) but my wife is riding a V85TT which is such a beautiful and friendly bike. We attended the GMG 100 in 2022 which was a wonderful experience.

Mine is the same only a little older. It doesn't have the stainless steel brace/support in front of the heads. I'm guessing this is to save the heads in the event you drop it? I seem to remember the 850 California from the same period had them though.

Though the modern ones are not bad either. If my V-Strom 1050 XT was not such a good bike I would seriously consider the new Stelvio.
