You will also learn a lot in the process which is very gratifying (or frustrating at time). My previous ride was quite extensively modified, this time I'm sticking to stock as long as I can (but the temptation is real, I need to stay strong!).

The Corvette is very good. I haven't driven it yet, but the specs show excellent double wishbone suspension, mid engine, 6.2 liter V8 engine, nearly 500 hp, mid engined, and even a dry sump lubrication system! Fully equipped comes in around $88,000 USD pl... 

It is 100-200kg overweight. But I have a feeling it's a great car! Corvettes were always interesting cars, but the generation I test drove back in 2005 or so, I didn't like, the steering ratio wasn't right, the weight of the steering wasn't right, the bra... 

The Z06 version will have a smaller engine (5.5L vs 6.2) but will have much more horsepower, around 670 vs 495! It will be a high revving very emotional engine. It will also be possible to specify the car with carbon fiber wheels! Saving about 5 kg per co... 

It’s a real shame America loses out on cars like this. An Alpine, Lotus Elise and 987 would be perfect for some of the less well known backroads in America.
