The prior time they did this work ten plus years or so held up really well. But the car is garaged and covered except when being driven, and it’s usually not driven in the rain.
It’s a color Porsche made specially for the final two years of the air-cooled 911. They haven’t used it since but I suppose one could get it as a paint to sample.
Love that blue color too, well chosen! 👍🏻 I only go to the touch free wash or hand wash (never through the traditional car wash) and hope to avoid these paint correction trips in the future!
I’ve found when I use clean micro fiber towels to dry it, the swirls are not as bad as running it through the traditional wash. But yes indeed, some level of paint imperfection I’m afraid, with any method , is unavoidable !!
