It's been a very long wait, and I am not talking about a Roger Smith or even a Simplicity. The reason the USA is short on small change is I have been saving all nickels, dimes and quarters in a jar for three years, ever since the mid-engine Corvette seeme...  

I recognize Point Loma well I used to hang out at the Pannikan Cafe adjacent to that Bookstar with a buddy. Surprised to see the Bookstar still there (unless it's empty). Looking forward to reading more of your impressions of the Vette. Cheers, John

If this is the base car, they accidentally gave me 10-speaker Bose, leather, power seats, door locks, windows (even a back window), digital camera mirror, twin A/C controls, remote start, etc etc. Plus 8 spds and 490 hp -- how much more does a guy need?

Honesty, a very attractive choice. Reasonable weight, plenty of power and plenty of dealer support. I can’t think of a better bargain in its class. If my garages weren’t full... Congratulations! Kent

People seem to love it - from surfers, to truck drivers to drunks on the curb. A moving truck driver tried to make a trade with me -- he offered a 24 foot Isuzu box truck and all its contents for the car. Thanks 👍 but no deal. Cazalea

you can even take out the stripe, it would still looks awesome and remain sporty perhaps I would love a lighter wheel and Akrapovic ( you can preorder it now, I think it will be difficult to get once its out)

No, camera was ok, see here's 73... My wife just fell over in her seat after she smacked me upside the head. Redline is 4000-4500 for the first 500 miles, as you can see on the tach. ...

The export ones have more equipment on them - they come with Z51 package, and 2LT trim which would come to about $85,000 in the US
