They can claim what they want but I seriously doubt that 2/3rds of American drivers actually can drive a car with a manual transmission. If so it's only because there are still a fair
number of us old-timers around.

I read today that BMW is fazing out all manual transmissions. BMW says you can still get the M2, 3,4 and Z4 with a manual (for now). My guess that manuals will go the way of the Dodo bird soon.

Way, way better than what BMW has used in recent years (I have driven 2 recent BMW manuals, they are rubbery and non-precise to me). If you want an automatic, definitely easier to get. But if you like to row, this is the beast to do it in!

Don't forget the LT4 is also Supercharged :-) And the smaller Blackwing offers the 6MT in a twin turbo V6.
