Wow, what a beautiful car and picture!
Despite owning Fiats and Alfas when I was young, I'm not especially familiar with the Dino Nicolas. Thanks for posting a great picture of this beauty.
My first car was a 1973 Fiat 124 Coupe (red), next came a 1975 Fiat Spyder (orange), and then an Alfa Spyder Veloce (white). The Dino looks a bit like my Fiat Spyder in the back and a Ferrari in the front, as you say -- like an aggressive Fiat! My friends warned me not to buy any of these cars and it turns out that reliability was fine. It's true the interiors were not made from the highest quality materials but I had great luck with all of them. The engines were strong and pure. For these cars, I think performance comes first and the frills are second. Now, cars are all about creature comforts. I miss the cars of old -- more character and personality, and more fun. Of course, this is probably just nostalgia talking, I realize.

Lack of reliability. Unless you know a very good specialist who is able to solve all the problems you will have to face...

The spider was sexier - more of a mini-Ferrari. But I've always loved the more reserved GT character of the coupe

Poor man's versions of these are the 124 Sport Coupe and Spyder Veloce -- loved them both.
Not sure about reliability...
But they are truly gorgeous. Have a slight preference for the Coupe but would take any, really. As for reliability, like with most vintage cars it has been improving with time

My favorit is the last great FIAT produced, the 130 COUPE. Last chance to buy this luxery and rare car. Only 4500 Coupes in six years. Totaly underrated ! I love the clear design of this PININFARINA, which looks a little bit like the ROLLS ROYCE CAMARGUE ...

They all need careful consideration before buying as corrosion, electrics, and smoking engines are regular features. Still a wonderful design if you can afford the restoration costs !

If there are enough cars and activ clubs, they start production of important parts. Also for Volvo PV models you can find parts.

Watches from some brands need more and expensiv service. Thats true, but it is nothing compared with old cars.
A car must allways be moved, otherwise it will break. Correct is, one time a month 100km. If you leave a car for five years, it has to be restored. If you leave a Rolex five years in the safe, you take it out, you set the time and go for dinner.
