To me, as someone that knows little about cars but also knows a good thing when I see it, this remains one of those really underrated and undervalued cars.
It’s timeless in design. It almost looks better today two decades later than it did in the late 2000s.
And these are not common. Only ever saw one other M Coupe on the road.

This brand hit their pinnacle many years ago, at least for drivers who crave character and emotional machines. Sadly, they don't make new cars with such attributes. I guess the same can be said for many other brands too.

I'm not surprised by the price of the low miles car on BaT. They just do not make cars like this anymore. I do have bias towards my Blackwing being the closest thing available, but surely in a much heavier, brutish package.
Yep - sadly, BMW will likely not make anything like it again.
Hard not to like the Blackwing with a killer engine and even a manual transmission available.
