So... this just came back from its first ever service. This watch was my first Serious Watch purchase, for my 40th birthday in 2006. It led to many more purchases over the years... and for the last five or so years, my wife has been mostly wearing it beca...  

I can see why. It's a real beauty and I am glad it's back to good shape and on your wrist. And I can see why your wife also loves it. I understand about falling in love again. In July I bought again my first watch, which I let go, but which started me ini... 

I strongly recommend the Leman Flyback, too. Note, though, that it wears a fair bit smaller than your watch does. ...

I find it walks the line as something that could be sport or dress. What I find curious, however,is that they updated the caliber with a different balance spring. Very cool. Seems like something an independent would offer!

I am partial to the black-- I think it is more legible. The gold is probably the most legible, but I am not a gold watch guy. It's a super tough watch (now tougher because of the new silicium balance), and it ran perfectly for 15 years before it needed a ... 

My collection of BP is also stuck around that time period…. Was great the svc center managed to keep the skeleton hands without having to change them out. There is no big following of BP and I would say they are more under appreciated than anything else. ... 

actually, they did replace all three hands and both crystals. the watch looks gorgeous.

… and one might say that with some time passed since it’s discontinuation the Leman series gets better and better. Cheers Henrik
