I recently chose the time only bathy over the chrono. It was really close, ultimately I liked the aesthetics of the chrono better but chose the time only for the slimmer profile
I think the bathy is one of the best laid out chronos on the market, perfection if no date and the chrono more beautiful front and back with a nice modern caliber that gives space to the subdials. The chrono and time only have the same bezel and mid case, the extra depth of the chrono is hidden in the deeper case back which pushes the lugs up higher off the wrist. Even though the difference is small and visually almost indistinguishable when worn, I liked how the time only sat that little bit flatter and had less tendency to rotate around my wrist when worn loose.

Thickness
To answer your question, I have long considered a Bathy Chrono but the dimensions always push me away at the last moment. The thickness in particular just doesn’t suit me and the overall watch requires larger wrists. These days I prefer more slim designs....
