I've been reading some stories about the BP breaking, and generally not keeping as good a time as the JLC.
One of the people on some other forum gigged the BP Ultra thin movements as being too delicate because they are so thin. But I would imagine that would apply to the JLC 889/899 movements too, as they are also pretty thin. hmmm.

I do find the BP Lemans to be better looking of a watch than the JLC MC. I have recently read a good pictorial describing the difference between the finishes of the BP and the JLC ( and others ). Maybe it was yours.. So knowing that the BP is better finis...
