some questions, bp leman vs jlc mc

Hi,
I'm considering my next watch an researching the Leman Ultra Slim series. I think they are beautiful watches. I like the white face and brown leather strap combo.
I'm also comparing these to the JLC Master Control.

I know the BP is more expensive than the JLC MC, and that, unfortunately is a factor.
But I would like to know a couple of things about them.

1) How do the call 1151 found in the 38mm model and the cal 6950 found in the 40mm, compare to each other, as far as: rate, accuracy, cost to service, and robostness.
I can't find the info now, but I believe one of them ( probably the slimmer 100 hour reserve ), has a lower beat rate, and I've always heard that can make issues as far as keeping as good of a time.
2) Do the BP's usually come from the factory keeping time a little fast ? I hate it when a watch loses time.
3) Does anyone know how these 2 calibres compare ( using the above criterea ), to the JLC 899 calibre found in the master control ? I know the 899 is harmonised with some of the autotractor components, and would tend to think that makes it more robust, easier to maintain accuracy, and needing less maintenance, but would like to hear from some people with more experience and knowledge.

Thank you for any knowledge you can impart to me. It's important because I need to know if I should buy the JLC, which I can afford now, or wait until I can justify the extra cost of the BP to my wife.

Thank you.
Floyd
