These Leman are seriously underrated
The size, case, dials, and superb movements… all pass under radar to a shocking degree.
If you are fortunate enough to own or wear the Leman chrono—probably the star of this relatively overlooked group—it is genuinely stunning how much love and extraordinary detail was put into it.
I feel this way about all the Leman of this era for differing reasons.
I don’t love them all, of course, and I do dislike a few.
But if Blancpain put 50% of the love and passion they put into these watches—into some new offering—instead of bland Anniversary models or stale ‘new’ models…
MAN OH MAN, that would really be something.
Really, the Leman should be revived, probably at 40mm, but 38 is very tasty still.
