try the Blue NATO too
Thank you for the great review and superb images. I went through the same thought process in the summer and got the grey dial on green nato... I love it! when you feel like experimenting with a dark nato strap, I actually recommend getting the dark blue nato one. At night it looks black, but in daylight the blue strap brings out some striking new elements. I got an additional hardware set for it, so I can change within seconds... a lot easier and safer than dealing with the spring bars each time.
I keep the sailcloth on my Fifty Fathoms

Great choice! The dark grey dial makes the indices change color (prism, reflection), depending on angle. The bezel is really sleek.

Not cheap... but worth it.
in the $400's - small investment but in my opinion the Bathyscaphe was practically made for NATO, so it gives you flexibility. Especially since I would recommend to avoid removing the spring bars that could easily scratch the lugs.
