Belmondo’s Breguet
This 36 mm Breguet 18K gold Triple Calendar Chronograph wristwatch with Moon phases was manufactured in 1972 and sold on 22 December 1973 to a "M. Belmondo" for the sum of 3,500 Francs.
Whether this M. Belmondo is the French sculptor Paul Belmondo (1898-1982) or, more likely, his son, the famous French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo (1933-2021) is not completely sure.
But what is certain is that Jean-Paul Belmondo was photographed wearing what is most probably this watch at the 1974 Cannes Film Festival.

What a beautiful and classy looking Breguet Triple Calendar Chronograph with Moonphase.
That gold case with the blued hands bar the gold hour and minute hands just looks so pretty as do the blue dates round the dial it just makes the whole watch look so pretty. It does seem to be a much simpler look then more modern Breguet's with their guil...
I also like this look very much.
