For me, this is the most beautiful Breguet I have ever seen. Yes, the dial reminds of the one special enamel model (three-hand watch) that didn't have that (โฆ ugly) date window of the standard version.
I am in love. Iโm a little afraid of the price tag, but that could be my first Breguet!

I love this layout but they don't have a an enamel dials in the 5157BR/11 models, feels like a miss, the small seconds are beautiful

The did a version for the Ginza boutique a few years back which was close but I don't think a central seconds hand works on the Classic Breguet,
These website audio files probably can't be trusted.
The sound has probably been doctored by the film/audio editing team.

Fully agree that one has to experience the chimes in person
from a real timepiece. Right now the audio file is unfortunately all we have. Perhaps soon a fellow member will be able to report from a live experience.
Did you hear the new gold gongs?
Breguet's MRs have been updated in the last year. People can send in their old MR and have the gongs replaced. Not sure if there are new tweaks to the Lemania movement here as well.
the gongs are made out of gold? How peculiar, I would doubt this material makes for a nicely resonating metal but I might be wrong

Some Breguet Minute Repeaters I've heard were horrible! Nearly as bad as the IWC Grand Complication (which has more spinning governor/regulator noise than minute repeater chimes). I expect a lot more from Breguet, considering it's a top tier brand.
This matches my experience with Breguet minute
repeaters. But none were of the latest generation so perhaps Breguet has finally mastered the issues.

It is darn good.
It's a modern Minute Repeater, and it's a "Powered" Minute repeater. Not a classic slide minute repeater. Definitely a cool watch though.

besides the completely silent fly wheel is the ability to keep constant intervals between hours and quarters and minutes when chiming whether there are quarters or not. The nature of the gong makes for a different sound than that of gongs made out of meta...

Gorgeous dial but
too large at 42mm and the long lugs do not help. Plus a thickness of 12.6mm is too much for a dress watch even when it is a minute repeater. Patek have mastered the art of making slim and crystal clear sounding minute repeaters.

as mentioned above, and the trademark Breguet lugs wear very large too.
